282 places have been prepared in temporary accommodation centers for forced migrants in the Irkutsk region

In the Irkutsk region, 282 places were prepared for temporary accommodation of forced migrants from southeast Ukraine, and soon the region will receive 250 people. Housing, food, clothing, bedding, and rooms for specialists and psychologists are already organized for them. In addition, the region is collecting new clothes, shoes, hygiene items, and food packages to help arriving families.

In the Irkutsk Region, 282 places have been prepared in temporary accommodation centers for forced migrants from southeastern Ukraine.
In the Angara region, 250 people from southeastern Ukraine will arrive in the near future. Those arriving are ready to be accommodated in the premises of the regional Center for Assistance to Children Left Without Parental Care on Nekrasova Street in Irkutsk, the Integrated Social Service Center of the Population of Shelekhov and the Shelekhov District, and the premises of the children's camp “Solnyshko” are also ready there. And also—in Irkutsk on Volodarskogo Street in the premises of the Irkutsk Vocational Boarding School and the dormitories of the education sector. In addition to these premises, 200 places for temporary stay have been prepared in the municipalities of the Irkutsk Region. Starting September 1, an additional 200 people will be able to be accommodated at the Metallurg recreation center, and by September 15 the preparation of 160 places in Angarsk will be completed.
Issues of food provision for those arriving, as well as clothing and bedding, have also been resolved. The centers have prepared 2-, 3-, 5-, and 6-bed rooms for accommodation, as well as rooms for specialists and psychologists to work in.
To provide assistance to citizens, the Ministry of Social Development, Guardianship and Trusteeship of the Irkutsk Region has organized the collection of new demi-season and winter clothing, footwear for adults and children, personal hygiene items, and food packages.
