In Irkutsk Region, applications for the student teams contest were extended until November 1, 2014. Participants will compete in several categories, from teaching, construction and agricultural teams to the best photo and video works about their activities. The results will be announced at a ceremony during the November regional student teams gathering.
The OCGU “Youth Personnel Center” and the Irkutsk regional branch of the MOOO “Russian Student Teams” have extended the deadline for applications to the competition among the region’s student teams until November 1, 2014. As reported by Nikolai Petrov, Deputy Director of the Youth Personnel Center and Chairman of the Board of the Irkutsk regional branch of the MOOO “Russian Student Teams,” the first applications for the competition were submitted by student teaching teams.“We decided to extend the application period for the competition among the student teams of the Irkutsk Region by one month. This is mainly due to the specifics of the work of some student teams. The competition requires a brief report on the team’s workload, and, for example, the student conductor teams finished working only in September and simply did not have time to submit their documents for the competition by October 1,” Nikolai Petrov explained.
According to him, student construction teams will submit their documents for the competition in the near future. Applications are also expected from conductor teams and agricultural teams. The winners and prizewinners of the competition will be announced at the awards ceremony as part of the Irkutsk Region Student Teams Rally in November 2014.
As a reminder, the competition is held in the following categories: “Best Headquarters of a Student Team of the Irkutsk Region,” “Best Student Teaching Team,” “Best Student Construction Team,” “Best Student Conductor Team,” “Best Student Agricultural Team,” “Best Student Team for Commissar Work,” “Best Photo Report on the Activities of a Student Team,” “Best Video Clip on the Activities of a Student Team.” An additional competition category, “The Road of Kindness,” is provided, in which volunteer and voluntary student teams may take part.
