A qualifying swimming tournament will be held in Irkutsk, where boys and girls will compete in 50 meter races in four strokes, as well as in the mixed 4x50 freestyle relay. About 100 athletes will be able not only to test their strength, but also to meet the standards for sports ranks up to first adult. The best participants will be awarded medals and certificates from the Irkutsk city administration.
Young men and women will demonstrate their skills in the 50-meter distance in 4 strokes: breaststroke, butterfly, backstroke, and freestyle. There will also be a relay race between mixed teams (young men and women) 4 x 50 freestyle. The best athletes will be awarded medals and certificates from the administration of the city of Irkutsk.This tournament is classified as a qualifying event, meaning that if participants meet the standards, they may be awarded the next sports ranks, up to the first adult category. About 100 athletes are expected to take part in the tournament. It will begin at 12:00 at the Spartak swimming pool at 5 18th Soviet Lane (the competition will last about 2 hours).
