On April 19, Snowdrop Day will be celebrated in Irkutsk. Every year on this day, many countries around the world celebrate the beautiful spring holiday that has already become traditional — Snowdrop Day (The Day of Snowdrop). This holiday is a symbol of life and hope. It was established in England in 1984.
In Irkutsk, on this day at 14:00, a celebration for people with disabilities will be organized at the Komsomoll shopping center.
The initiative to hold the celebration came from a commercial enterprise engaged in organizing events. The event is being held with the support of the Irkutsk city administration. The goals of the celebration are: to organize communication between people with disabilities and healthy people, to create a common social environment, and to give people with disabilities the opportunity to demonstrate their creative abilities.
Participants in the celebration can look forward to a concert program: oriental dances, circus acts, and a performance by the children's dance group "Kolibri" (participants in the "Minute of Fame" program). Saxophonist Ivan Konstantinov, performers Tatyana Smetanina and Sandra will take part in it. Participants will also enjoy a fitness warm-up, a flash mob, a lottery, and many gifts and surprises. Everyone who wishes is invited to take part in the celebration. Free transportation will be organized for people with disabilities. Contact phone number of the organizers -89501058516, Svetlana.
