Residents of Irkutsk district 20 will develop reconstruction projects for their yards themselves

Irina Yezhova, chair of the Irkutsk Duma, proposed that residents take part in creating renovation projects for their homes and, with the administration, set improvement priorities. The meeting discussed yards, playgrounds, road and house repairs, and in September round tables are planned on implementing the law on major repairs of apartment buildings. Activists have already backed the initiative and plan to hold general owners meetings, while the city continues preparing to repair and equip playgrounds.

Residents themselves will be able to create projects for the reconstruction of their homes. During a meeting with residents, Irina Yezhova discussed issues of courtyard improvement, playgrounds, road repairs, and routine and major repairs of buildings. Also, in September, Irina Yezhova planned to hold round tables with active residents of the district on the implementation of the law on the major repair of apartment buildings.
Activists reacted positively to the deputy’s proposal and plan to hold general meetings of homeowners to discuss this topic.
As Irina Yezhova reported, together with residents and the city administration, we are developing plans for the installation of children’s and sports grounds, the improvement of courtyard areas, road paving, and building repairs. Active residents of the district, who are concerned about the fate of our city, always provide enormous help in resolving all the issues that worry city residents, for which I am very grateful to them.
As a reminder, 808.8 thousand rubles have been allocated, following the auction results, for the repair of 49 playgrounds located in the Pravoberezhny District of Irkutsk. The list of addresses for playground repairs was compiled on the basis of requests from deputies of the Irkutsk Duma for their electoral districts.
By September 15, it is planned to equip 62 children’s playgrounds. The Committee for Urban Development of the Irkutsk city administration prepared the auction documentation for carrying out work on the installation of equipment for the improvement of playgrounds on the territory of Irkutsk.
