The plane flying from Irkutsk to Moscow made an emergency landing in Chelyabinsk because of one passenger's inappropriate behavior. Police said the girl walked around the cabin, poured water on herself, sang songs, and ignored the crew's remarks, after which she was tested for alcohol and hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital.

On June 19, a plane flying from Irkutsk to Moscow made an emergency landing at Chelyabinsk’s Balandino Airport. The reason for the landing was the inappropriate behavior of one of the female passengers. On the ground, the girl was tested for alcohol in her blood, and then hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital.
It was assumed that the girl might have been intoxicated. Medical staff determined that she was not drunk, and she was taken to a psychiatric hospital.
"One of the passengers, born in 1988, became ill. The girl began walking around the cabin, pouring water on passengers, singing songs. The aircraft commander decided to land the plane in Chelyabinsk," said Elena Epimakhova, head of the press service of the Transport Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Ural Federal District.

As Elena Epimakhova clarified, the passenger has dual citizenship: Russian and Israeli. "She did not realize what was happening. The flight attendants tried to seat her back in her place, and remarks were made to her. The passenger basically did not take in the information."
After landing in Chelyabinsk, the girl was handed over to police officers, and the plane continued on its way.
