On June 25, a motorcycle and a foreign car collided at the intersection of Sovetskaya and Yadrintseva streets.The biker was riding along Sovetskaya toward the airport at the moment when the driver of the car, standing at the intersection, failed to ensure the maneuver was safe and began turning left.
Witnesses to the accident tried to resuscitate the motorcyclist, but the medics who arrived at the scene of the incident confirmed the death of the motorcycle rider.
Several hours earlier that same day, on Baikalskaya Street between the Volozhskaya and Barguzin stops, a motorcyclist collided with a Toyota Corolla car that was turning left onto Sedova Street.
As reported by the traffic police, the motorcycle rider, with a broken arm, was taken to a medical facility. The circumstances of the accident are being established.
