Irkutsk athletes won two gold medals at the international Irtysh Dawns 2015 tournament in Pavlodar. Winners on the tumbling track in the 9 to 12 age group were Yunost Sports Palace pupils Sofya Rudakova and Alexey Gnedov. More than 300 athletes from four countries took part in trampoline, tumbling and sports acrobatics competitions.
As reported by the regional Ministry of Sports press service, athletes from Irkutsk won two gold medals at the international tournament “Irtysh Dawns 2015.”The competitions in trampoline jumping, tumbling track, and sports acrobatics were held at the end of June in the city of Pavlodar in Kazakhstan. More than 300 athletes from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan took part in the competitions.
Pupils of the Irkutsk sports palace “Yunost,” Sofya Rudakova and Alexey Gnedov, became winners on the tumbling track in the 9-12 age category. In total, 7 athletes from the Irkutsk Region took part in this tournament.
