In Irkutsk, four cars were damaged in one night by fires, and experts are now determining the causes, not ruling out arson. On two streets, a Toyota Porte, Subaru Forester, Toyota Voltz and Toyota Gaia burned, with no deaths or injuries. Especially worrying is that since the start of 2015 about 100 cars have burned in the city, and in about half the cases it was arson.

In Irkutsk on July 14, four cars were damaged overnight due to fires. Experts are now determining the causes, and arson is not ruled out. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Irkutsk Region.
In the Krylaty microdistrict, 6, a Toyota Porte caught fire. The report came in at 01:45. A couple of minutes later, rescuers were at the scene.
- The fire was extinguished before the arrival of the fire units. As a result, the engine compartment, hood, and windshield were damaged. There were no fatalities or injuries, - the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
On Przhevalsky Street, three cars burned overnight: a Subaru Forester, a Toyota Voltz, and a Toyota Gaia.
The report came in at 03:30. By the time the firefighters arrived, two cars were burning, and there was a threat of the fire spreading to a car parked nearby. At 03:40, the fire was extinguished. As a result, the combustible parts of the engine compartment and interior of the Subaru Forester and Toyota Voltz, as well as the right fender and bumper of the Toyota Gaia, were damaged.
Since the beginning of 2015, about 100 cars have burned in Irkutsk. In 50% of cases, it was arson. Cars of different price categories have burned. Criminal cases have been opened. Police officers are searching for the criminals.
