Against the backdrop of the financial crisis, the government decided to support families where both parents lost their jobs. Such families with children under 14 are planned to receive a one time benefit of 15 thousand rubles and an interest free loan for personal needs of up to 50 thousand rubles. The aid mechanism is still being developed, but likely registration with the employment service will be required first.

The financial crisis is sweeping across the country: enterprises are closing, people are losing their jobs. The government has moved to help those families where both husband and wife have been laid off.
Yesterday, at a government meeting, the issue of supporting families of the unemployed was considered. It was decided to pay families with children under 14 and both parents left without work (dismissed due to the liquidation of the enterprise or staff reductions) a one-time benefit of 15,000 rubles, as well as provide an interest-free loan for personal needs of up to 50,000 rubles for a term of up to 3 years.
The mechanism for disbursing the money is still being developed; most likely, the unemployed will be asked to register with the employment service, and if they are not found a job there, their documents will be sent for review to the district social welfare department, where financial assistance will be provided.
