On July 17, 5 teenagers registered with the Commission on Juvenile Affairs and the Protection of Their Rights of the Oktyabrsky District visited the Fire Protection Museum.
The museum staff told the visitors about the history of the development of firefighting in our region. Using unique exhibits as examples, they helped trace how firefighting equipment and firefighters’ gear improved: fire helmets, axes, and protective clothing.
Since the beginning of 2015, “difficult” teenagers from the Oktyabrsky District have taken part in a dozen similar excursions: to the DOSAAF driving school, to a military unit, to an EMERCOM base, and they have visited the N.M. Zagursky Musical Theater and the Taltsy architectural and ethnographic museum.
