Residents and guests of Irkutsk are invited to a talk about the Decembrists as part of the fourth season of Walks through Old Irkutsk. The walk will begin on July 28 at 6 p.m. at the monument to the Decembrists wives, and will be led by historian Tamara Pertseva. Participants will learn about the lives of political exiles, participants in the Senate Square uprising, and their contacts with Irkutsk society.
The public organization "Club of Young Scientists "Alliance" invites Irkutsk residents and guests of the city to a meeting about the Decembrists as part of the fourth season of the project "Walks through Old Irkutsk".The event will begin near the monument to the wives of the Decembrists on July 28 at 18:00. This was reported by the project coordinators.
During the walk, visitors will be able to learn about the lives of political exiles – participants in the uprising on Senate Square in Irkutsk and their communication with the local society.
The event will be led by Tamara Pertseva, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian History at the Faculty of History of ISU.
