In Orenburg, after 12 years, the stolen Toyota Land Cruiser was found, which had all this time been considered missing. Police found it with Interpol, and it is now in impound as evidence in a criminal case. Police remind buyers to have an expert inspect used cars before purchase.

12 years ago, in one of the courtyards of the city of Orenburg, a then-expensive Toyota Land Cruiser was stolen. The car disappeared without a trace, and its owner had already given up hope of finding his foreign-made vehicle. The car was found by police officers together with Interpol of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
- It is now placed in an impound lot and is material evidence in the criminal case that has been opened, - the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Irkutsk Region reported.

As a reminder, in just one and a half years, law enforcement officers found 170 cars that were wanted at the federal or international level. The cars were stolen not only in Russia, but also beyond its borders.
Police officers urge citizens, before buying a car secondhand, to have the vehicle inspected with the participation of a forensic expert. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Irkutsk Region.
