On September 7, 2015, a forum of special forces representatives will open. The event “Russia’s Special Forces Week” will take place at the Eternal Flame memorial. Over 10 years, this is the fourth gathering.
Participants of “Russia’s Special Forces Week” will visit military units, meet with the families of fallen heroes, visit a cadet corps, and talk with young people.
The forum will include not only Russian special forces personnel, but also guests from Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
As Oleg Kondaurova, coordinator of the public movement of the Commonwealth of Siberian Warriors, said, this event helps special forces personnel understand that they are cared for not only while they are serving, but also after they have completed their military service. This is also a veterans’ movement. It is both material and social assistance to the families of those who died in the line of military and service duty.
