Another playroom has opened in the children's hospital of Irkutsk

Another playroom has opened at the Irkutsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital, where young patients can take a break from treatment and feel cared for. The space is equipped with furniture, a TV, and toys for children of different ages. The project was carried out with support from religious denominations, the city mayor, and patrons. The hospital already has nine such rooms, where celebrations, contests, and quizzes are regularly held.

Little patients recover faster if they receive not only medicine, but also care, attention, and even toys. Another playroom has been opened for children at the Irkutsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.
The room is decorated in a child-friendly style, equipped with comfortable furniture, and has a television. There are also toys for all ages. For the youngest patients, these are soft toys; for older children, Wi-Fi.
The opening of the playroom took place as part of a project being implemented with the support of four religious denominations, the Mayor of Irkutsk, and benefactors.
- Today we are giving this project a new impetus. The goal for the future is for such rooms to appear in all departments of the city's children's hospitals. After all, in essence, this is another department - a department of kindness, love, and joy. And I sincerely thank the representatives of the denominations for this celebration. This is an example of unity for the common good - for both children and adults, - emphasized Mayor Dmitry Berdnikov, who came to congratulate the little patients.
In total, 9 playrooms have already been opened in the regional hospital as part of the project. Competitions, celebrations, and quizzes are held there for the children.
The Mayor of the city emphasized that such projects should become not the exception, but the rule, part of Irkutsk's life.
He called on everyone who is not indifferent to get involved in such events, including providing feasible assistance to children's medical institutions.
According to the mayor's office press service, Dmitry Berdnikov's family has taken one of the playrooms in the clinic under its care.
