From Irkutsk to Sochi. Baikal seals have settled in the southern "Aquarium". As our colleagues from Kuban report, 5 seal pups have arrived there for permanent residence — Mishka, Chester, Tyson, Kisa, and Bonya. All the little ones are four months old.
Right now, the Baikal seals are adapting to their new environment. Fresh water for the guests from Siberia is drawn from the tap and cooled as much as possible so that the temperature is close to their comfortable one — Baikal’s. Air conditioners have been installed around the perimeter of the aquarium. The pups’ diet has also changed. Instead of Baikal gobies and omul, they now have sea delicacies — capelin, pink salmon, and herring. But despite the new menu, the little ones have a good appetite. The visitors to the "Aquarium" are delighted by the Baikal quintet’s talents. The seal pups play the flute, dance a waltz while hugging each other, and send greetings to the audience.
