A batch of illegally imported apples was destroyed in Irkutsk

In Irkutsk, illegally imported apples found in a supermarket during a Rosselkhoznadzor raid were disposed of. A 44 kilogram batch of Golden apples lacked the required declaration, customs confirmed. In Priangarye, they also reminded of a hotline for reporting sanctioned products, and earlier a large batch of Polish apples was destroyed in the city.

As reported by Rosselkhoznadzor, illegally imported fruits were disposed of in Irkutsk.
During an inspection at one of the city’s supermarkets, a batch of apples was found for which the appropriate declaration had not been issued, as confirmed by representatives of the Irkutsk Customs Office. The fruit was found at LLC “Metro Cash and Carry.”
A total of 44 kilograms of Golden apples were discovered. In the Angara region, a hotline operates for sanctioned products. Violations can be reported by phone at: (3952) 24-33-57.
As a reminder, at the beginning of August, about a ton of fresh Polish apples was disposed of in Irkutsk. 97 boxes of the prohibited goods were taken to the landfill.
