From September 9 to 12, Business Day will be held in Irkutsk for the first time. It will take place as part of Business Week at the Molochanov-Sibirsky Regional Library. This is an open and free event for entrepreneurs in the region, students, and top managers. The main goal is to build a community of Irkutsk entrepreneurs.
According to the organizers, there is currently a global demand for professional communities, experience sharing, and networking. That is why they have planned this kind of meet-and-greet day: with business trends and with one another.
Representatives of government authorities will take part in the event: they will talk about new support programs for businesspeople. For example, Ruslan Kim, Minister of Industry of the Irkutsk Region, will deliver a report: “The Socio-Economic Situation in the Irkutsk Region, Development Strategy. Prospects and Opportunities,” and Sergey Mayarenkov, advisor to the minister and an ASI representative, will speak about the concept for developing entrepreneurship in the Irkutsk Region.
Also on Business Day, Irkutsk entrepreneurs will share the stories of how they created their businesses and talk about the difficulties and pitfalls. Guests will hear stories from M-Studio company director and Design Bar co-owner Mikhail Grigoriev, owner of the Asian cuisine delivery restaurant Bamboo Mark Plyaskin, owner of the jewelry confectionery ORRRO Lyubov Bobkova, restaurateur (MAVR Group) Arseny Mitin, and owner of the Baikal Training Center Elena Lebedeva.
Employees of the Baikal Training Center will present original master classes. Trainer Elena Peresada will lead a facilitation session on the topic “People Determine Everything” (about motivation and increasing employee engagement). BCT trainer Olga Mikhailova will conduct a master class on the topic of meaning in work.
As the speaker said, 70% of all requests in the “Happiness in Activity” training are related to a loss of meaning, a point of support, and one’s own development vector: “We will work through individual goals and meanings for each participant. We will sort out ‘true’ and ‘false’ goals. We will look at the present. What in it is a point of support, and what is a stimulus for development. We will form a balanced picture of the future. We will answer the questions ‘Who am I?’ and ‘What do I really want?’ for ourselves.
Let us remind you that as part of Business Week, the Event Expo Day holiday industry exhibition and the 6th Baikal Internet Forum will also take place in Irkutsk.
