Autumn brings us not only cold weather, but also various health problems, mainly in the form of colds and vitamin deficiencies. The traditional vaccination campaign has already started in the Irkutsk Region.
In this epidemic season, it is planned to vaccinate 675,000 residents of the region against influenza.
335,000 children and 340,000 adults will be vaccinated. For immunization against influenza, the domestically produced vaccines “Grippol” and Sovigripp” are used.
As reported by the regional Rospotrebnadzor press service, 340,000 doses of the “Grippol” vaccine and 581,844 doses of “Sovigripp” have arrived in the region.
At the moment, 13,857 people have already been vaccinated. Pensioners, children, pregnant women, persons subject to conscription for military service, people with chronic diseases, and adults working in certain professions and positions (employees of medical and educational organizations, transport, and the utilities sector) are vaccinated free of charge.
In 2014, as part of the national calendar, more than 32% of the population of the Irkutsk Region was vaccinated against influenza with preventive vaccinations.
Of these, 340,000 children and 345,000 adults were vaccinated at the expense of the federal budget. Another 77,811 people were vaccinated from other funding sources.
To get vaccinated, you should contact the polyclinic at your place of residence. Vaccination of children is carried out in children's educational institutions.
In organizations and enterprises, employees will be immunized by special mobile vaccination teams.
As a reminder, every year a vaccination campaign is carried out in the region with the aim of reducing the spread of influenza infection among the population and minimizing the negative consequences associated with the spread of influenza.
