On September 27 in Irkutsk, the mass race Cross of the Nation 2015 will take place

On September 27 in Irkutsk, the All Russia Running Day Nation Cross 2015 will take place, with over 5000 expected participants. Distances of 4, 6, 8 and 12 km are prepared, plus VIP races. Start at 12.00 by the monument to Alexander III.

«Cross of Nations» is a mass sporting event. Everyone, regardless of their level of athletic training, may take part in the competition. Every year, “Cross of Nations” becomes an increasingly significant event in the sporting life of Irkutsk residents.
On September 27, the All-Russian Running Day “Cross of Nations — 2015” will take place in Irkutsk. It is planned that more than 5,000 people will take part in the competition.
The event is scheduled to start at 12:00. Participants will gather at 10:00 a.m. by the monument to Alexander III, and the approximate finish time of the race is 16:00.
As reported by the city administration press service, the competitions will be held over various distances: 4, 6, 8, and 12 km.
The 4 km race will take place along the route: Gagarin Boulevard, Chkalov Street — 5th Army Street — Karl Marx Street — Gagarin Boulevard.
The 6, 8, and 12 kilometer races, as well as the VIP competitions, are planned to be held along the alleys of the Angara River embankment on Gagarin Boulevard.
