In September, the BPPM began operating under a closed-loop water circulation system, which made it impossible to produce profitable products and led the enterprise into a financial crisis. The management of the BPPM decided to allocate additional energy resources, coal and fuel oil, to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the mill’s CHP plant, which supplies hot water and heat to the city of Baikalsk.
