The traffic accident occurred today, September 13, at around 8:00 p.m. in the Sinyushina Gora neighborhood.According to preliminary information, the driver of minibus No. 23, while trying to avoid a collision with a car, lost control. The minibus overturned onto its side.
As reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Irkutsk Region, the minibus overturned because the driver drove onto the curb.
Information about the presence of injured people is being clarified. Police officers are providing necessary assistance to passengers, regulating traffic on the road, conducting a search, and also questioning witnesses and bystanders.
-I drove past twice; there were three ambulances there, one fire truck.... I saw an elderly woman with a bandaged head, young people with abrasions, - says Yulia Kalenova.
An investigation is currently underway, during which police officers will have to establish all the circumstances of what happened.
