In Irkutsk, the martial arts festival will be held for the third time and will bring together more than 500 participants. For the first time, competitions and demonstrations in sambo, boxing, judo, wrestling, karate, kendo, pankration, MMA and other sports will take place at several venues across the city. The opening and main athletes parade will be held on September 26 at the Oktyabrsky Martial Arts Center.
For the third time, the martial arts festival will be held in Irkutsk. More than 500 people will take part in the sporting event.According to the press service of the Irkutsk city administration, for the first time the festival will take place at several venues across the city:
Martial Arts Center “Oktyabrsky” (13A Stanislavskogo St.),
Martial Arts Center (Universitetsky microdistrict, bldg. 68),
Martial Arts Center (Solnechny microdistrict, Baikalskaya 255A),
Vyrupaev Sports Wrestling Academy (Solnechny microdistrict, 166 Rzhanova St.
The ceremonial opening and main athletes’ parade will take place on September 26 at 12:00 p.m. at the recently opened Martial Arts Center “Oktyabrsky”.
Demonstration performances will be held in sambo, boxing, judo, sports wrestling, karate, kendo, pankration, mixed martial arts, kyokushinkai, etc.
