The Oktyabrsky District Prosecutor's Office checked how supermarkets comply with the ban on selling products from several countries and found dairy products from the EU in one Udacha store. 26 kg were found and disposed of.
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Oktyabrsky District received information about the results of sales in supermarkets of food products banned by the President of the Russian Federation.For example, in one of the stores of the “Udacha” supermarket chain, prosecutors and a specialist from the relevant department of the city administration found fermented milk products manufactured in European Union countries. As a result, 26 kg of food products banned by Vladimir Putin were discovered and disposed of.
The method by which the imported cheeses were destroyed was not specified by the press service of the supervisory authority. They only said that they intend, together with the transport prosecutor’s office, to hold accountable suppliers of food products banned by the President of the Russian Federation.
