As reported by the regional Investigative Committee press service, a pre-investigation check has been launched in Irkutsk into the fact of the rough treatment of a disabled child at an orphanage by a caregiver at Orphanage No. 1 in the city of Irkutsk.According to the Irkutsk Investigative Committee office, the caregiver beat a 10-year-old disabled boy because the children had slightly damaged the orphanage’s property.
At present, police officers are questioning the institution’s staff. After the check is completed, a decision will be made on whether to open a criminal case.
