On October 8 in Irkutsk, a ten year old schoolboy was hit by a car when he ran across the road in the wrong place on his way home after class. The boy ran onto the roadway from behind a bus, and the Honda Stream driver could not brake in time, but the impact was weak and the child was not seriously hurt. Police are now investigating and deciding whether to open a criminal case.
On the afternoon of October 8, a ten-year-old child was hit by a car. The schoolboy was returning home after classes and decided to cross the road at an unauthorized place.- The boy walked around the bus in front of the stop on Rosa Luxemburg Street, after which he ran out onto the roadway, - the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Irkutsk Region reported. – At that moment, a Honda Stream was driving along it.
The driver did not have time to hit the brakes. However, the impact was not very strong. Fortunately, the boy did not suffer serious injuries.
A medical examination showed that the 55-year-old Irkutsk resident who was behind the wheel of the foreign car was sober. At present, police are conducting an investigation, based on the results of which a decision will be made on whether to open a criminal case or not.
