A new workout sports area has appeared in the Universitetsky neighborhood, with strength machines, pull up bars and parallel bars, and anyone can train outdoors for free. The initiative answered the needs of children, teens and young people. In spring 2016, landscaping nearby is planned to be completed.
In the Universitetsky microdistrict, which is part of electoral district No. 28 of city duma deputy Yevgeny Stekachev, a sports ground for workout training has appeared. The cost of the site is about 200 thousand rubles without landscaping. This was reported by the city administration press service.In recent years, many play complexes for children have appeared in the regional center. According to Yevgeny Stekachev, older children also want to spend their free time usefully. In this regard, it was decided to arrange a complex that includes both a children's and a sports ground.
In the Universitetsky microdistrict, strength training machines, pull-up bars, and parallel bars were installed. All residents of Irkutsk can exercise outdoors completely free of charge.
“It was liked by all the residents of Universitetsky. I saw for myself how young people work out on this ground; it is great and very beneficial for health,” Yevgeny Stekachev noted.
In the spring of 2016, it is planned to landscape the area adjacent to the sports ground.
