According to investigators, the conflict began after a remark about the patrons appearance, then one of them opened fire and fatally wounded a 28 year old employee. The weapon believed to have fired the fatal shot was seized from the suspect.
Police detained a suspect in the murder of a café administrator in Irkutsk. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Irkutsk Region.As a reminder, on November 1 at around 10:00 p.m. at the Kalina café on Barrikad Street, a visitor shot and killed an employee of the establishment. According to one version, the cause of the altercation was the sportswear the young men were wearing. It is possible that the men did not like the remark about their appearance, and one of them opened fire. The 28-year-old man died from the wound he sustained.
Less than a day later, the 34-year-old suspect in the murder was detained by police with force support from SOBR fighters. The weapon from which the fatal shot was fired was seized at the man's home. Police officers believe that the shooter was intoxicated.
