To clear Irkutsk streets of snow today, 114 pieces of equipment are being used, including vehicles from five contractors, as well as 140 road workers. As Evgeny Drokov noted, the snowfall is now weaker than last week, but roads and sidewalks still need to be cleared on time.
To clear city streets of snow, 114 pieces of equipment are currently being deployed. This includes equipment from five contractor organizations. This was reported by Deputy Mayor and Chairman of the City Improvement Committee of the Irkutsk administration, Yevgeny Drokov.According to him, 18 dump trucks, three graders, 13 loaders, 34 vehicles for spraying roads with reagents, nine specialized machines for spreading sand-salt mixture on roads, and others went out to clear the streets today. In addition, 140 road workers have been involved in street cleaning.
– Today’s snowfall is not as heavy as it was last week. Nevertheless, timely clearing of roads and sidewalks is required, – noted Yevgeny Drokov.
