As reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Irkutsk Region, driving while intoxicated is punishable by a fine of 30,000 rubles and deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for a period of one and a half to two years.
In the event of a repeated similar offense, the driver will be brought to criminal liability.
