Abnormally cold weather has come to Irkutsk and the Irkutsk region. In the coming days the average daily temperature will be 7 to 12 degrees below normal. In Irkutsk from November 17 to 19, variable cloudiness and frosts down to minus 25 at night and minus 14 to 16 during the day are expected. Across the region forecasters predict even harsher conditions, in places down to minus 38 in clear spells, as well as light snow and a north wind.
According to meteorologists, abnormally cold weather has arrived in Irkutsk and the Irkutsk Region. In the coming days, the average daily air temperature will drop by 7-12° below the long-term average values.According to the Irkutsk Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, from November 17 to 19, Irkutsk is expected to have partly cloudy skies, no precipitation, with temperatures at night around -25º, and during the day -14,-16º.
