The morning at the kindergarten did not begin with games. Smoke occurred at preschool institution No. 58 in the Yubileiny neighborhood. 258 children were urgently evacuated from the building. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
It was established that at 08:57, an electrical short circuit occurred in the electrical panel in the utility room of the kindergarten.
Seven minutes later, firefighters were on the scene and extinguished the smoke. The kindergarten pupils were evacuated, and there were no casualties.
- The preliminary cause is a short circuit in the electrical wiring without subsequent fire, - the Ministry of Emergency Situations explained.
