The Botanical Garden of ISU's Biology and Soil Science Faculty will receive 15 million rubles for infrastructure development for the first time in recent years. The funds will go to equipment, workwear and tools, video surveillance and heating, and greenhouse reconstruction and plant collection renewal.

The Botanical Garden of the Biology and Soil Science Faculty of ISU will, for the first time in recent years, receive additional funds in the amount of 15 million rubles for infrastructure development. This was reported by the director of the ISU Botanical Garden, Svetlana Sizykh.
“The subsidy is targeted and is aimed at supporting structural subdivisions of universities. There are more than 80 universities in the country that have botanical gardens as part of their structure, but only 17 will receive support, including us,” Svetlana Sizykh said.
As part of the subsidy, it is planned to purchase a KamAZ truck and a multifunctional loader for bringing in soil and removing waste from the territory. Another part of the funds will go toward purchasing workwear, equipment, and the acquisition and installation of a video surveillance system and heating system. The reconstruction of greenhouses and the renewal of plant collections are planned.
