The results of the first regional competition, “Best Book of the Year,” have been announced. A special commission selected the winners in five categories from more than 50 books published in 2014. This was reported by the Irkutsk Regional Library named after I. I. Molchanov-Sibirsky.The winners were determined in five categories: “Best literary and artistic publication in poetry”; “Best literary and artistic publication in prose”; “Best local history publication”; “Best educational book”; “Best publication for children and youth” and the winner in the special category “Best book about the native land.”
On December 19 of this year, the winners of the “Best Book of the Year” competition will be awarded as part of the ceremonial closing of the Year of Literature in the region at the Molchanov-Sibirsky Library
As a reminder, in the spring of 2015, the first regional competition, “Best Book of the Year,” was launched. The organizer of this event was the Molchanov-Sibirsky Scientific Library with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Archives of the Angara region.
