Former employees of "IrkutskPromStroy" are planning to hold a rally demanding payment of their wage debts. As reported on social media, the company’s employees will hold a rally on December 6 at Truda Square, in front of the Circus. The main demand of the protesters is payment of their wage debts.
In a petition that former employees of "Promstroy" published on the change.org website, it is reported that the construction company owes them about 30 million rubles.
"Since December 2014, wages have not been paid to 470 laid-off and dismissed workers. The average debt is 200,000 rubles per person," says the petition, which has so far been signed by 49 people. "A once powerful construction giant, one of the oldest enterprises in the region, has found itself on the brink of bankruptcy, and it is precisely at this moment that we have a chance to receive the money we honestly earned. However, despite court decisions to recover wages in our favor, the local authorities are not in a hurry to make the payments. Bailiffs have been unable for five months now to seize the company’s property, and assets are being transferred to the subsidiary 'SpetsMontazhProm-1'.
At the rally, the former employees will put forward several demands. In particular, they intend to demand that the prosecutor’s office withdraw its requests to lift the seizure on the property, and that the bailiffs conduct an inspection, seize the property, and begin putting the property up for auction.
