In Irkutsk, a 4 year old boy died in intensive care after his mother threw him and his brother from an eighth floor window. The tragedy happened on November 27 in Novo Lenino. The woman first threw the children, then jumped herself and died at the scene. The younger child died almost immediately, and the older one was kept alive on a ventilator for three days, but could not be saved.

In the intensive care unit of one of Irkutsk’s hospitals, a 4-year-old boy died today, December 1, whom his own mother threw out of the eighth-floor window together with his brother.
As a reminder, the terrible tragedy occurred on November 27 in the Novo-Lenino microdistrict. A 32-year-old woman first threw her sons out, and then jumped herself. She died at the scene, and the 2- and 4-year-old children were hospitalized at the Ivano-Matreninskaya Children’s Clinical Hospital. A few hours later, it became known that the younger child had died.
- The boy’s life was sustained for three days with the help of a ventilator and medication, but the injuries were too severe, and therefore it was not possible to save him, - the hospital said.
According to the head of the family, there was no quarrel. The woman had recently been discharged from the hospital, where she had been staying with her younger son.
It is known that the family is complete, prosperous, and not under supervision.
