In Irkutsk Region, by December 1 total wage arrears rose 4.8 times from October and exceeded 105.7 million rubles, Rosstat says. Debts of firms and budgets also rose sharply.
The total wage arrears of organizations and enterprises in the Irkutsk Region increased by 4.8 times in November compared with October, thus as of December 1 it amounted to more than 105 million 700 thousand rubles, Rosstat reports.In particular, the arrears of the regional budget tripled and amounted to 16.4 million rubles, while the arrears of local budgets increased by 60.5%, reaching 2.6 million rubles. The arrears of enterprises due to a lack of own funds increased by 5.8 times, and by the beginning of December it had reached 86.6 million rubles.
According to statistical data, in November wage arrears of the constituent entities of Russia in the Siberian Federal District increased by 3.5 times. The largest amount of arrears was recorded in Krasnoyarsk Krai - 602.2 million rubles, while the smallest was in the Altai Republic - 1.8 million. The Irkutsk Region ranks sixth among the regions of the Siberian Federal District.
As of December 1, the total wage arrears across Russia amounted to approximately 7.8 billion rubles, increasing significantly, by 93%, compared with November 1.
