Forecasters also warn of noticeable temperature swings. In some areas at night frosts may intensify to 30 to 35 degrees below zero, and by day slight thaws are possible in places.

On Sunday, December 6, forecasters predict partly cloudy skies in the region, light to moderate snow in places, southwest and southeast wind 5-10 m/s, temperature at night -9,-14, in cloudy weather -3,-8, in the northeastern and Upper Lena areas with clearing -19,-24, during the day +1,-4, in places -8,-13.
