In Irkutsk, demolition was completed of an illegal two story capital building on Barrikad Street, where a car wash and hotel were located. The municipal plot was restored to its original state.
According to Margarita Li, Head of the Municipal Property Management Department of the Irkutsk City Administration, the demolition work on the illegal two-story permanent structure on Barrikad Street, which housed a car wash and a hotel, has been completed in Irkutsk.- The municipal land plot has been restored to its original condition. Now the required fire safety gaps have been maintained on the site, unobstructed access to Barrikad Street has been ensured, and nothing interferes with the safe operation of the neighboring buildings of the orphanage, school, and club, - the department head clarified.
As a reminder, during an inspection of the municipal land plot leased by the Irkutsk regional children's public organization “Sports and Patriotic Club “Patriot”, a capital construction object was identified in 2012. As a result of claim and lawsuit work and in accordance with the decision of the Arbitration Court of the Irkutsk Region, demolition work on this structure began on November 16 of this year.
As Margarita Li emphasized, the practice of demolishing illegal structures will continue in Irkutsk.
