At the “V.P. Sukachev Estate,” the porcelain exhibition “Winter Motifs” is on display. The exhibition features porcelain from the I.D. Perevalov factory and the Khaitinsky plant.
The exhibition is dedicated to the winter season, so most of the exhibits are decorated with thematic drawings or ornaments. Also on display are plates from the “North” series, produced by the Khaitinsky plant in the 1970s of the last century, a teapot and a tea set from the “Taiga” service, and numerous cups and saucers on which artists created Siberian landscapes.
One of the main exhibits of the exhibition is the “Pine Cone” service from the I.D. Perevalov factory, which was produced in the 1880s–1890s. The relief pattern of the snow-white service is highlighted with gold painting.
In particular, the exhibition features angel sculptures, candlesticks, as well as parts of a porcelain iconostasis produced by the I.D. Perevalov factory. The exhibition will run until February 29, 2016, at: 112 Dekabrskikh Sobytiy St., Irkutsk, “V.P. Sukachev Estate.” For inquiries, call: 53-12-24
