The CEO of JSC International Airport Irkutsk, Vladimir Nikiforov, has been dismissed by decision of the Irkutsk Region government, the company owner. Since December 9, deputy CEO for construction and infrastructure Alexey Rendorovsky has been appointed acting head. The regional authorities also plan to renew the airport board of directors formed under the previous regional leadership.

The CEO of JSC “International Airport Irkutsk,” Vladimir Nikiforov, who was appointed to this position in late summer 2015, has been dismissed. As reported by the public relations center of the Irkutsk airport, this decision was made by the owner of the joint-stock company — the government of the Irkutsk Region.
On December 9, Alexey Rendorovsky, the airport’s deputy CEO for construction and infrastructure, assumed the duties of head of the enterprise.
As a reminder, before being appointed head of the Irkutsk airport, Vladimir Nikiforov held the position of first deputy director of JSC “Angara Airlines,” which belongs to former governor of the Angara region Sergei Eroshchenko.
Meanwhile, the regional government also intends to replace the current board of directors of JSC “International Airport Irkutsk,” which was staffed by the former regional leadership.
