Patrol officers spotted a suspicious Honda Torneo and after a chase blocked it on Baikalskaya Street. Three men were in the car, and the detainees were 20 year old residents of Usolye with prior convictions. A criminal case has been opened, and the suspects are being checked for involvement in other similar crimes.
Last night in the Pervomaisky neighborhood, unknown individuals stole a cash register from a grocery store. However, they were soon detained.The crime occurred at around three o’clock in the morning on December 28. Police were informed that unknown individuals had broken into the grocery store and stolen the cash register.
Soon afterward, a patrol spotted a suspicious Honda Torneo car. At the sight of the police, the driver sharply increased speed, trying to evade pursuit.
After a brief chase, police blocked the vehicle of the suspected criminals on Baikalskaya Street.
There were three people in the car. The detainees turned out to be previously convicted 20-year-old residents of Usolye, the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service reports.
A criminal case has been opened in connection with this incident. The suspects are currently being checked for involvement in similar unlawful acts.
