Irkutsk FC Baikal keeps losing key players. After the head coach, one of the defensive leaders, Sergey Avagimyan, left for Yerevan Ararat. The club says it is a pity to part with him. Financial situation remains unchanged.

Irkutsk FC Baikal is suffering serious losses in its squad. Following head coach Konstantin Dzutsev, who took over Chita, one of the leaders of our defense, Sergei Avagimyan, has also left our team.
- The footballer’s agent found him a team in Armenia, - says Baikal president Oleg Lidrik.– Sergei will play for Yerevan’s Ararat. It’s a shame to lose such a player.
Sergei Avagimyan joined Baikal in 2014 and together with our team became the second division champion in 2015. Before that, the 26-year-old defender played for Moscow’s Nika, Blagoveshchensk’s Amur-2010, and Spartak from Kostroma.
This season, Sergei Avagimyan played 19 games for the Irkutsk side in the Football National League championship and scored 2 goals.
Meanwhile, the situation with funding at the club has still not changed.
