On January 23, an ice tower will open at the Nouvel plant on Starokuzmikhinskaya Street, where anyone can try to climb. Organizers promise free entry, instructors on site, and gear rental, so even nonprofessionals can test themselves on the icy vertical. They advise dressing warmly and bringing mittens, gloves, a hat, and a thermos of hot tea.

The ice tower will open on January 23 on the premises of the Nouvel stretch ceiling factory at 91 Starokuzmikhinskaya Street, one of the organizers of the opening said.
Everyone is invited to try climbing the icy vertical surface from 3:00 p.m.; an instructor will be on site.
“We’ve been pouring such a tower for the second year in a row. If you’re not a professional ice climber, that’s no problem. You just need to dress warmer and come — admission will be free, and we’ll provide the equipment,” the source said.
What do you need to bring and how should you dress? Since the event takes place outdoors, you should choose the most comfortable and warm clothing possible, and bring mittens, gloves, and hats. We recommend bringing a thermos of hot tea.
