Irkutsk Duma speaker Irina Yezhova urged the city administration to urgently address the shortage of public toilets in the regional center. She proposed finding budget funds or attracting investors, noting that there are none on Gagarin Boulevard, near Trud Stadium, or by the circus. The problem is especially acute during holidays and mass events.
The speaker of the Irkutsk Duma, Irina Yezhova, called on the city administration to address the serious problem of the shortage of public toilets in the regional center. On January 27, at a parliamentary hearing, Yezhova suggested finding funds for these purposes or considering the possibility of attracting investors.— The issue of the lack of a toilet on Gagarin Boulevard remains unresolved. We keep hiding behind the paid mobile toilets that are set up there. However, for example, a woman with a small child cannot go into such a toilet to wash her hands. Public toilets near the Trud stadium and near the circus have also been removed in the city, Irina Yezhova noted. — They have opened so many squares, but there is nowhere to wash your hands.
The problem of the shortage of public toilets on city streets becomes especially acute during holidays and mass festivities, including City Day and Victory Day.
