The regional governor proposed developing event tourism on Baikal and holding several major cultural events in Baikalsk. According to Sergei Levchenko, this will finally show that the BPPM is closed forever and make the city the regions event tourism capital.
The head of the region expressed his opinion on the development of tourism on Lake Baikal. Sergei Levchenko believes it is necessary to hold several cultural and mass events in Baikalsk to prove that the BPPM was closed forever, and the city itself intends to become the capital of event tourism in the region.– It is not enough just to close the BPPM; we need to continue working. But so that no one has any more doubts that there will be no harmful production here, we can hold a number of cultural festivals on Baikal, for example, a symphony music competition, developing the event tourism direction, – the governor’s press service quotes him.
