Irkutsk Hydrometeorological Center promises slight warming over the weekend, in Irkutsk the daytime temperature on January 30 will be down to minus 17 degrees, and on January 31 down to minus 15 degrees, with almost no precipitation expected. Across the region the weather will also become milder, though in some areas severe frost will remain, and on February 1 light snow and stronger wind are possible in places.
According to the Irkutsk Hydrometeorological Center, on January 30 the thermometer will drop to 17 degrees during the day and to 28º at night.On January 31, it will be warmer during the day — down to 15º below zero, and at night — down to 25º. This weekend, partly cloudy weather without precipitation is expected. The probability of precipitation is no higher than 15%.
Across the region, it will also be warmer on the weekend than during the week — daytime temperatures on January 30 will be 15-20º below zero, with cloudy weather — down to 26, and in the western districts — in places 9-14º degrees.
During the day on January 31, -9,-14º below zero, in places — 19-24º. At the same time, light snow is possible.
On February 1, partly cloudy weather is expected across the region, with light snow in places, southwesterly wind shifting during the day to northwesterly at 5-10 m/s, nighttime temperature -22,-27º, in low-lying areas -32,-37º, daytime -10,-15º, in places -20,-25º.
