In the Irkutsk region, a list of professions was approved for training unemployed citizens under the 2014 2018 program Promoting employment in the Irkutsk region. The list includes in demand specialties in construction, industry, education, agriculture, trade, healthcare, transport, mining and other fields. The list was formed taking into account long term forecasts for the regions labor market development.
As reported by the Minister of Labor and Employment of the Irkutsk Region, Natalya Vorontsova, the list includes professions in demand in construction, manufacturing, education, agriculture, hunting and forestry, wholesale and retail trade, real estate operations, rental, healthcare and social services, transport and communications, mining, hotel and restaurant activities, motor vehicle repair, provision of utilities, social and personal services, and the production and distribution of electricity, gas, and water.When compiling the list, the leading projected trends in the development of the labor market in the Irkutsk Region in the long term were taken into account.
As reported by the regional government press service, vocational training for unemployed citizens is carried out within the framework of the program “Promoting Employment in the Irkutsk Region” for 2014-2018.
