On February 21, an ice Open Air with music, entertainment, and fireworks will be held on Lake Baikal for the first time.A 30-meter-long sculpture, “Live on Baikal,” has appeared on the shore of the lake. Thanks to lighting, it shimmers in all the colors of the rainbow in the evening.
“It will be something like a disco on the ice rink: contests, prize draws, gifts. Snowmobilers will come, guys on bicycles, there will be sled dogs and much more. It starts at 13:00, and a beautiful, big fireworks display of 160 salvos will be at 19:30,” said one of the event organizers, a representative of the “Live on Baikal” movement.
On this day, an ice rink on the lake and skate rentals will be available. Event participants will be offered rides on sleds with racing dogs, snowmobiles, and khivus (hovercrafts). A master class on making ice sculptures is planned.
