The incident occurred around 07:50 at the "Kirov Square" stop when the first bus driver failed to ensure safety. The injured woman was hospitalized, and now the traffic police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
Today morning, two buses No. 74 and 80 collided on Lenin Street. As a result of the accident, a woman was injured.It has been established that the road incident occurred around 7:50 AM near the public transport stop "Kirov Square."
The driver of bus No. 74, while departing from the stop, did not ensure the safety of the maneuver and collided with minibus No. 80, which was moving in the same direction.
As a result of the collision, an Irkutsk resident who was in the cabin of the second bus was injured. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.
The woman was taken to the hospital, where the nature of her injuries and their severity will be determined. Now, the traffic police will conduct an investigation into all the circumstances of the incident. Based on the results of the investigation, the perpetrator of the accident will be assigned a penalty.
